The JPG Converter has a new design, and it now comes with settings. Pick Light, Normal or Sharp quality to match where the image is going, from a quick message to a print, and see the expected file size before you convert.
When an image has transparency, like many PNGs, you can fill the empty areas with white or black. Each image in the list now shows a thumbnail, its dimensions and whether it’s transparent, and you can paste a copied image straight in with Ctrl+V. The per-image limit went up from 30MB to 50MB, and if some files fail, you see why and can still download the rest.
iPhone HEIC photos now convert in Chrome and Edge too. HEIC used to work only in Safari; now the tool decodes HEIC itself when your browser can’t, still entirely in your browser.
