The Image Format Converter picked up several new features.
- Batch conversion: pick or drop several files at once and they convert automatically in order. Save results individually, or use “Save all” to download everything at once.
- BMP and ICO added: browser support for encoding these two formats is inconsistent, so the tool builds the file bytes itself — they now work in any browser. ICO is automatically shrunk to 256px or smaller to match favicon requirements.
- Max size: choose Original, 1920px, 1280px, or 640px to resize while converting.
- Quality guidance: the quality slider now shows whether your current setting is a good fit for web publishing.
- Format guide: a quick-reference list for WEBP, JPG, PNG, and ICO — click any entry to apply that setting instantly.
